Part Time Review

The goal of this review is to produce uniform guidelines that will treat all part-time faculty the same and provide for regular oversight and guidance.

One full time faculty member will act as part-time review coordinator. This person will schedule classroom visits according to the following guidelines.

1. Each part-time faculty member will be reviewed every other year by at least two full time faculty members, not necessarily including the part-time review coordinator.
2. The review will consist of at least one announced classroom visit which will include a discussion with students. The reviewers will also review class syllabi, exams and assignments.
3. A written report will be filed in the School of Science office.

In addition to the above the review process, part-time faculty will be required to place on file with the School of Science Office a copy of all midterm and final exams.
